Joker:
Joker can be used as an ace or in a Straight, a Flush, or Straight Flush.
No Pair:
The second and third high cards will be placed as the Low hand. The highest and all remaining cards will be placed as the high hand.
One Pair:
The second and third high cards will be placed as the Low hand. The highest and all remaining cards will be placed as the high hand.
Two Pair:
Split any two pair – Six’s (6’s) or higher. If one or both pair are five’s or lower, use in back with any ace in low hand. If no ace, split the pairs.
Three Pairs:
Always play the highest pair in the Low Hand.
Three of a Kind:
Always play the three of a kind in the high hand and play the two highest cards in the low hand. You never split three of a kind except for aces. In the case of three aces, keep two aces in the high hand with one ace and the highest card in the low hand. - In the case of 2- three of a kind, play the highest pair in the Low Hand.
Straight, Flush, or Straight Flush:
The lowest straight is ace,2,3,4, & 5. If you have a six or seven card straight or flush, you will use the highest cards in the Low Hand. In the case of a straight or flush with two pairs, you will take and split the two pairs (if both pairs are sixes or higher). In the case of a straight or a flush, you will take the one that provides for the highest Low Hand. In the case of a straight or flush with two pairs and a joker, you will take the straight and a pair if possible. If you have a five-card straight flush with two pair, you will split only with kings, queens, or jacks.
Full House:
You will split a full house as a pair in the low hand and three of a kind in the high hand. IF the pair is twos or threes you will keep the pair in the high hand if you have an ace and a face card to place in the low hand In the case of a full house with a pair, the highest pair will be placed in the Low Hand. In the case of a full house or a flush, play the one that gives you the highest Low Hand.
Four of a Kind:
Four Aces, Kings, Queens or Jacks will be split as two pair. Four Tens, Nines or Eights will be split unless you have an ace then play the ace and other card in the Low Hand. Never split four Sevens or lower. Any four of a kind and a pair keep the four of a kind and play the pair. With four aces and a pair, play a pair of aces in the low hand and two pair in the high hand. On a hand with four of a kind and three of a kind, play the full house or four of a kind depending on which one gives you the highest Low Hand. With a consecutive four and three of a kind, play the four of a kind with a pair.
Five Aces:
Always play a pair of aces in the Low Hand. If you have 5 aces with a pair, which is 10 or lower, play the full house in your high hand and the pair of aces in the Low Hand. If the pair are face cards, play the pair in the Low Hand. If you have 4 aces and a joker in your hand, the hand only ranks as 4 aces. Low Hand: The highest low hand is two aces. It cannot be a straight or a flush. As a general rule, when given the choices between high hands that are not covered in the house rules, play the hand that gives you the highest Low hand.

Fortune Pai Gow Poker Side Bet
Fortune Pai Gow Poker games offer a side bet that pays a bonus based only on the player's hand. For purposes of the bonus it does not matter how the player arranges his cards and whether or not he beats the dealer. A relatively unique feature of this bet is that if any player gets at least a four of a kind then all other players who placed the side bet get an envy bonus (because they envy the person who got the good hand). The side bet must be at least $5 to qualify for the envy bonus. The return on the side bet is maximized at $5 because the envy bonus is fixed. The winning hand is paid relative to the size of the wager, however. The following table displays the winning hands, the number of combinations, the probability, what it pays to the winner, and the envy bonus. Note that a straight is more probable than a three of a kind and thus pays more. A hand that can be arranged to form both a three of a kind and a straight is scored as a three of kind.
